Julie has owned and run Home from Home since 1999 and has some lovely staff to help her. We rely on employing people with experience and/or qualifications in small animal care. That way we can ensure that those people involved in the care of our visitors have a genuine passion for animals and are qualified to know how to look after our lovely visitors. Amy our supervisor for example, has been with us since 2004, Amy is cat mad and has 2 cats of her own and a cockatiel. Julie and her husband Tony have enjoyed life with cats for their entire lives and for a period of time bred pedigree kittens. They now have 4 cats, 3 dogs and a Parrot.  

Whether your little ones are active youngsters or golden oldies, you can be sure they will receive the best most homely care while you are away. On arrival we welcome customers to come into the cattery to settle their cats in, we believe that gives us time to ensure we have fully got to know information about your little ones before you leave. We don't believe in a 'Drop and Go' policy. We live here on the premises so you can be assured that evening checks and medications can be carried out with ease and care. Cleanliness is of the highest standard with litter trays, bowls and a full clean done at least once daily. We keep detailed records during a cats stay so we can highlight any problems or monitor concerns. We cater for all types of diets and requirements and can arrange collection or delivery if needed. There is always plenty to see and do here for our visitors, whether its lazing in the sun watching the doves, snuggling up in our lovely heated runs in the winter, playing with our staff or getting cuddles. It's a true 'Home from Home'
